Maya 8.5 releases first Service Pack

After the Autodesk / Alias merging, Autodesk has taken initiative to integrate Maya as part of thier production suites. Now, Autodesk has released Maya 8.5’s first service pack SP1, just like 3dsmax Service packs. However, I wonder why the service packs comes in huge sizes (300MB ++ ) almost equivalent to the setup size of maya itself. I tried downloading but there are some problems, later today, I checked the site again, it seems to be down and they will repost it on 12th of June. Hmmm. what’s goin on?
